Denise Liz Tshiteya

Denise Liz Tshiteya is a native of Belgium and of Congolese descent. She is the wife of Bishop Jean T. Tshiteya, founder and senior Pastor of the New Jerusalem Church of God in Liège. Together they are raising four children. She also has a Master’s degree in Journalism and communications.

She started her first piano lessons at the age of five. Several years later, she completed her program at the Music Academy, not knowing yet where it would lead her. That was until she gave her life to Christ in 1988. She saw a new purpose in her life, serving first as a soloist and pianist, at the Church of God in Brussels (Belgium), and eventually as a singer and songwriter. She was also put in charge of directing one of the choirs there. In 1992, after she and her husband moved to Liege to start what would become the second largest church in the country, she founded and led the "Music Department" of their new church where she's been wholly and fully invested to this day. After spending almost twenty years concentrating on training others, she now is making a turn, and stepping out of the boundaries of the church to share with the whole wide world what the Lord put in her. Her talents and her sincerity are so real, that it has allowed doors to open for her. When she gets on stage, it’s more than a performance. Her anointed voice penetrates the soul. Denise-Liz Tshiteya is a source of faith, restoration, comfort, encouragement, and conviction to repent, or to make decisions to move forward, closer to the Lord! Her 20 year experience as a Pastor’s wife adds depth to her ministry. Her great testimony about what the Lord recently did and is still doing in her health, can leave no one insensitive or faithless. When she was admitted to the hospital some years ago, not able to walk or move her limbs at all, she had to chose: either trusting the diagnosis that said she would probably not walk again, or strongly trusting in God’s restoration promises. To make a long story short: she’s just a living testimony of what the Lord is able to do when you profoundly trust and rest upon Him! Besides the many concerts and other music activities, she also participates in different humanitarian causes ... For example she contributed to a project where all the proceeds of the CD went to support the construction of a medical Centre in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo). And she does whatever she can, as she feels led by God, because it’s also a way of showing how much we love Him! Although her first CD release "MERCI" had a limited distribution, it touched many hearts everywhere and is still in high demand! The second album, "ESPERE ", also in French, is still largely distributed. And here is the new baby: "EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE ", which she once again wrote herself, and is entirely in English, will take you to another level of faith and deep trust in the Lord. Such a voice singing such words, surrounded by such an instrumental quality! Active: yes she is! Belgium, America, England, Canada, France, ... have already been blessed by her ministry, and she is taking it further, higher! Some tours are planned, ... Get ready!!! Denise Liz T. ‘ S MAIN LINES AND PRINCIPLES IN MUSIC MINISTRY: - She emphasizes the need for each one to excel in their field, according to one's God-given talents, so that each member may fulfill their service without frustration. Thus, it is important to train persons according to their gift, until they excel in it. As she puts it, if you don't practice, you'll end up losing what you've got, and as a result, the music and singing will lose their power, their beauty, and clearness. So the work must be ongoing, ample, constant, and yes, relentless ! So the leader spends countless hours training and mentoring the choir singers, the front row lead singers of the worship team and the instrument players. - Strictness and discipline : "In the church and elsewhere, you can't get valuable results without these two 

ingredients". - Organization : Denise Liz Tshiteya surrounds herself with competent and capable helpers, to run the department smoothly.. She helped them all grow. And it’s so good now to look at the fruits of her sowing ! - Spiritual Guidance :"You can only give what you have inside". A singer can bring peace only if they have found it for themselves. The same applies to “life”, “joy”, … or anything else. The leader makes sure of the singers' well-being. - Personal work : "When you're training others, you must continue to work on your own advancement, and keep high standards for yourself". “Your personal work begins with laying at the feet of the Master; to let Him change you, fill you, speak to you, equip you, to let Him teach you in His Word, ... It begins with placing Him on the throne!”
