For over a decade, the music and lyrics of Urban Contemporary Worship Artist, Chris Bostic, have ministered and blessed many all
over the East Coast as well as the Midwest. “I believe that being relevant in these end-times will make a greater, stronger impact in
doing what God has called me to do. If you let God present you, and not yourself, you can’t go wrong.” says Chris. As a Minister and
Worship Leader, Chris is adamant and insistent that the spirit of excellence reigns in his everyday walk as well as his ministry. This
awesome commitment to God and His people enables Chris to maintain a lifestyle of worship. This 32 year old, extraordinary singer,
songwriter, and producer, has a heart after God and he desires to see God’s people empowered and blessed. “The vision started for me
over 10 years ago. I was a keyboardist and vocalist for a local group who had been blessed to do some touring and traveling. I
remember one day while leaving New Haven, CT, the Lord speaking to me and saying ‘more son, more’. After returning to my home
in Charlotte, NC, I resigned from the group and 3 weeks later founded New Worship.” According to Chris, New Worship grew and
became a choir but they did not necessarily reflect the vision that God had put forth. Shortly thereafter, the Lord began to speak again
and as a result, Communion was birthed.
Communion is a small body of worshipers who have been called to carry the vision to completion. As a body, they are Spirit-filled
and on fire for Christ. Together, Chris Bostic and Communion deliver smooth vocals and anointed harmonies that administer healing
and restoration to the broken-hearted with a strong message of God’s love through salvation. In October of 2007, Chris and
Communion completed their first album entitled, “Chris Bostic and Communion-”Release The Oil” . Produced by Chris
Bostic/CMGM, “Release The Oil” is a montage of soulful worship with a focus on encouraging the people of God to keep believing
in God-no matter what! This 12 Song project, exudes a very palatable mixture of urban swing and old school. “You’ll find yourself
singing along in your car and ready for a long drive “It’s just good music,” says Chris. Be sure to look and listen for it in June 2008.
As for now, Chris and Communion are headed back to the studio in early 2008 to begin the start of their sophomore album, “See
Myself Free”, which is also written and produced by Chris Bostic/CMGM. Chris has launched his production/publishing company,
Communion Music Global Media. CMGM is designed for all up-and-coming artists who may need career advice, publishing or
production services. “ I plan to help everyone I can, on the level that I can, to make God’s name great,” says Chris. Whether it’s
music ministry, production or songwriting. Chris Bostic and Communion are definitely one to keep your eye on in 2008.
