For a special birthday showcase tributing Miles Davis, BlackPoet Ventures reprises "Cool Like That: A Tribute To Miles Davis." The theatrical production explores the vibrant and robust life of a musical genius amid the backdrop of the social and political climate of his time. Adapted from the autobiography "Miles" by poet Quincy Troupe, "Cool Like That" blends original poetry/spoken word, music, vocals and dance.
